Dating During Quarantine: The Singles Guide to Online Dating Sites

I never thought that I would ever be writing a post about online dating apps. I also never expected for our world to be in the condition that it is in right now. This pandemic has brought on more than just the fear and anxiety of getting sick, it has also brought on added pressure and angst to singles who feel that their season of loneliness will be prolonged due to precautionary inaction. Many are now apprehensive about dating the traditional way and have opted to explore the mysterious world of dating apps. In fact, the CEO of Tinder says that the overall activity and engagement on the app has soured in the last few months. There were a whopping three billion swipes recorded during the month of March, Tinder’s highest single-day activity volume in the app’s history.

It makes sense. In the midst of a deadly virus sickening millions both physically and figuratively, it’s understandable why people aren’t racing to the nearest bar to find their potential mates. Why people would be looking for their potential mate in a bar is beyond me… but I digress. Sorry for the sassiness lol.

With so many dating apps to choose from, it can be very intimidating to know which one will be the best fit for you. Not to worry, I have done the research for you and have compiled my findings below.
